Christian, Grandmother, Rescuer

Heather Idoni

Rescuer Heather Idoni lives in rural Michigan (Lindon). She and her husband have raised their 5 children and adopted 10 boys from Ukraine.

One of the baby-murdering places that she rescued at was in Washington D.C.. At her federal trial there in August of 2023, this peaceful Christian Grandmother was mislabeled as “Violent” and a “terrorist.” The judge threw her immediately in jail.

In March of 2021, Heather quietly prayed and sang hymns, peacefully, in the hallway of a medical office complex in Mt. Juliet, TN. One of the “Businesses” was the Carafem abortuary. Heather and 11 others were arrested and jailed for trespassing. Those charges were later dismissed. She has participated in other peaceful rescues.

Heather is currently serving a 24-month sentence (to be followed by 1-year of supervised release) in the Sanilac county Jail in Sandusky, MI.

What is Rescue?

All of mankind rebelled against God—you and me included. For that crime, all people have receive the death sentence in the courts of heaven. But Jesus came to earth and died in our place for sin and was raised to life again, having taken all the wrath of God for those that believe in Him and take him for Lord and Savior. Now He stands between His people and Judgement.

Rescuers are like that—they see babies taken to be murdered through abortion, and stand in-between the murderers and the babies. This is a historic Christian practice called interposition. Christian rescuers stand or sit quietly, praying and singing hymns, and offer the hope of Jesus to the hurting people who intend to commit these horrific acts.

What can you do to help?

Pray for the rescuers

Please bring the rescuers before the Lord and ask for them to have peace, courage, and perseverance. Pray that the Lord will bless their ministries while in prison, and surround them with revival. Pray that the power of the Holy Spirit will convict of sin and bring people to new life in Christ.

Pray for the end of abortion

Agree with the rescuers in prayer that baby murdering would come to an end in America and across the world.

Pray for justice in the goverment

Pray that the government would exercise justice and release the rescuers from prison and other punishments, and would end the homicide of babies.

Take action in your community and around the world

Go pray and stand with sidewalk counselors at your local abortuary. Offer help to moms and dads and encourage them to cherish and protect their babies. Use your legal right to protest from the public sidewalks. Pray, sing and peacefully share the love of Jesus with those running towards death.

Get your passport and be ready for opportunities to engage in global evangelization.

Share about Jesus and the rescuers

Talk about the rescuers standing in the breach to save the lives of innocent children, and how Jesus rescues us from our sin and sentence of death. Tell people about how Jesus can deliver from sin and guilt, even guilt of murder.

Support persecuted Christian prisoners

You can send letters to persecuted Christian prisoners in jail. Paperback books can be sent directly from the publisher or from Amazon. Visit prisoners if you are nearby or able to travel to see them. (Sometimes paperwork must be done up front to visit a prisoner.)
