Rescuers: The Nashville 11 & Detroit 7

Two court cases have been prevalent in the prosecution of the Christian rescuers, the Nashville trial, and the Detroit trial. The defendents of these cases are often referred to as the Nashville 11 and the Detroit 7.

Mt. Juliet Rescue – Nashville Tennessee Trial

On March 5th, 2021, a group of rescuers showed up to the Carafem abortion clinic. This was a time and place where babies were scheduled for murder, and the Christians interposed between the babies and those trying to kill them. The group prayed, sang hymns, and urged women not to get abortions. A few of the rescuers were arrested on trespassing charges and later released. In October 2022, the DOJ brought FACE act violation charges against 11 of the rescuers present.

Other Rescuers:

For the purposes of this website, we are focusing on the Christian rescuers we know. These individuals rescue peacefully with a gospel-first focus . However, there are many rescuers not mentioned who have been charged or convicted of FACE act violations or conspiracy charges. Some are currently in prison or under home arrest. We believe they all should all be released with charges and sentences dropped. The political weapon of the FACE act should be repealed.
